Bella Cucina The food wasn't bad, but the service was incredible slow. Throughout the meal, we could hear dishes breaking in the kitchen. Things were dropped on the floor and not picked up until someone tripped over it. One waiter kept the book that he used to take orders stuck in the back of his pants. It's overpriced considering the atmosphere. I love Italian food, but will never go back.
Skip This One If slow service, small portions and forgetful wait staff is your thing, then Bella Cucina is for you. Their menu on the Internet sounded wonderful so we tried them this evening. We were seated by the owner, but 20 minutes later, nobody had greeted us. Finally, a young and pleasant waitress came over acting surprised to see us. She took our drinks order and was back with our drinks in ten minutes, so things were looking up. No bread was brought despite several requests. Delish Italian!!! My boyfriend and I have travelled to the beaches of North Carolina for years now and have just recently found the restaurant of Bella Cucina. We are surprised that we have not came across the place before. The atmosphere is just as peaceful as we expect.
