The delay when scripts are dropped, filled and picked-up are horrible. Some medications are time sensitive and to send people away for an hour to have them come back in said hour to then turn around and tell them “come back tomorrow” is ridiculous. Then to be told “next week” ? (Excuse me, what?) I am not going to pretend that I understand what goes on behind the counter but the previous management (now retired) was way better managed and efficient and they had less people working there then. There was a previous sign that said it would take 24 to 48 hours to have a scrip filled… now they have a sign that says “all refill requests require 7 days notice,” as well as requiring an additional “24 hours after receiving it from the doctor to fill it out.” This is not how you support your community. At any other pharmacy in British Columbia it takes an hour or two at the most to receive your prescription.
