I drove up to the Riverdale area to look at the different monuments and parks. Using Google Maps, I found Bell Tower Park in a small traffic circle just off art 9A on Riverdale Ave. It is a cut stone tower built in 1930 to honor more than 700 local residents who served in WWI. In the top, there is a historic bell cast in 1762 in Spain. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to see the be.. from the ground.
Not much of a park, it’s in the middle of a traffic circle. The bell tower is nice to see, though.
