The vet we had for our new puppy is amazing and very good at explaing everything/answering questions. We will be transferring our cats here and hopefully the experiences will continue to be good.
I have been a licensed vet tech for over 26 years and been in veterinary medicine for over 30 years. I have worked with Dr. Burwell for years with small animals as well as wildlife. She is amazing. Her surgery skills are some of the best I have ever witnessed. She is an amazing doctor, surgeon and compassionate person. Her love for wildlife is contagious. I have first hand watched her save wild animals that most people would have no hope for.
I have known Dr. Burwell professionally for over 20 years and have gained a friend along the way. She is a seasoned veterinarian who has retained her passion for her work. So much so, that she has taken on wildlife with a dedication second to none. Saving animals from pain and suffering is a way of life for her and it shows. She makes herself available and is humble, compassionate, straight forward, and kind. I trust her implicitly with my animals and any wildlife she treats.
Dr Burwell has been an asset to Ayrshire Farm. We have many rescue cats and dogs and she is our go to Vet. She is compassionate and loving to all our small animals here at the farm, as well as extremely knowledgeable. We have many animals that are hard to be adopted because of their medical history. She isn't afraid to take on the unusual cases and goes above and beyond to find the best treatment for each case.
