Been waiting on revised estimates from Balfour for almost 3 months to get to my insurance company and still waiting. Would never recommend
Avoid these people at all costs. If your insurance company assigns them to your claim fight back and demand a new company be assigned. Belfor will run up their invoice, not complete the work they are required to do, will ignore you, and the cheap sub contractors they hire will take your personal belongings. Have never dealt with a company that is so shady.
We had much damage to our home from winter and ice damage this year. We hadn't had a claim on our home in over 20+ years hence I was anxious in understanding the process as one hears many horror stories in relating to dealing with insurance company, inspections, contractors and claims. In calling our insurance, we were referred to Belfor Canada Lindsay Office for our area and their Inspector, Izzy came out this morning. Overall the experience was a 10 out of 11. Project Manager: Tim S. If I could give zero stars, I would. BELFOR was hired by my insurance company to handle emergency cleanup and provide a repair estimate after a flood in my basement. What followed has been nothing short of a nightmare. It’s been over 8 weeks, and BELFOR still hasn’t completed the emergency work. The lack of communication is absolutely appalling.
