Absolutely terrible company. Took over 4 weeks to provide the initial quote AFTER already doing the demolition, making my home inhabitable. Myself and both insurance companies called our "project manager" DEREK daily, and he refused to send the quote to insurance. This added 3 weeks onto our timeline. We ended up going with a different company as clearly Belfor doesn't care about their customers.
We had a flood in our basement where my son, his wife, and 2 toddlers live. Absolutely overwhelming for my family. Belfor staff (Joann, Bernard, and Christine) came for the initial emergency clean up. They were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! I could not even believe how fast and careful they were and totally shocked how much they got done in such a short time. Belfor did restoration services for me over a year ago on a water break inside my house - they were quick to get people in and work on the issue. Quality of service dropped off immediately after i signed docs to start the work. Workers stole some of my personal properly, they would never show up when they said they would and the crew changed each time. The new crews never knew where the previously ones left off. Matthew effectively troubleshooted the issues with sub trades, ensuring everything was perfect before finalizing the contract. The Belfor team has been incredible.
