What an eye opener when I went to Beldon's by Medical Center. I was told I needed 4 heater hoses, a heat control valve. They did their diagnostic check. They did not call me. I had to call them. They said it would cost $1100 to repair. Ridiculous!!!! I took my vehicle to another mechanic shop and got another quote for under $500 which included a new alternator. I regret going here having rebuilt engines and doing my own work on cars growing up. I paid 220 for a simple diagnostic and a thermotat repalcement. I have done a previous diagnostic for free at autozone and told them what was wrong. A thermostat costs around $5 + 8 for gasket and sealant. very easy access and 20 minutes worth of work. they also recommended 700 to do brakes, I refused that since parts are around 120 and labor should take at most 45 minutes with complications.

My experiences at Belden's have always been great. The guys up front are friendly and know what they are talking about. They take good care of my wife and we have never had any problems with the repairs done on our cars. We plan on using Belden's for a long time.

Great shop – I used beldens automotive for the first time the other day. I was new in town and needed a place to have my brakes looked at and other regular maintenace done. a coworker recommened the one on fredericksburg. So I gave it a try. My first impression over the phone was so so not good not bad I scheduled an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment the front desk was very friendly . Robbing customers – Beware, before going for any car repair, do little bit of research on the internet. We had problem with wheel bearing. The parts costed $130 each, but these people where charging $300 each.They told us to change tie rods and charged us $100 for each of them where as the parts in autozone were nearly half. The labor charges are very expensive. Our steering wheel is misaligned after we asked them to do vehicle inspection. They also took a long time to return the car. Good people at Belden's – Belden's Automotive was able to help me get my car repairs done while I was in a bind. They listed my needed repairs in order of importance so I can get the safety issues done first and maintenance a little down the road. Other places want you to get everything done all at once. I thank them for working with me on all I needed to get done!!

Satisfied repair – Had my 2004 Ford Pickup in for brake work and stalling problems. The checked it out and called me with any estimate for the work. I approved the repair and found their work to be satisfactory and the estimate was right on the money!

Consumers Beware – I've recently taken my car to Grissom Automotive and have had to take it back several times. I still continue to have problems with my car. 1st return, my car was in worse condition than it was prior to bringing it in. Drove off and my breaks locked up completely and had to drive back with them locked. Steering fluid was very low. They charged me for misc. fluid flushing as preventative maintenance.
