I actuality took it to Belden's for a 2nd option, GMC dealer said I need 1 left side mount ($750). Belden's said I needed 2 motor mounts $1100 and a new transfer case $2600!! Plus they charged me $102 to look at vehicle. A friend told me take it to Fair Oaks Automotive, I figured have nothing to loose at this point. They inspected the vehicle said it ONLY needed 1 motor mount just like the GMC dealer. Fair Oaks Automotive didn't charge me to the inspect the vehicle and only charged me $535 for repair. HONEST, INFORMATIVE, CUSTOMER CARE AND STANDUP GUYS " OLD SCHOOL" BECAUSE ITS SERVICE LIKE IT USED TO BE I have handed myself on a silver platter to be ripped off on two occasions and if they weren't who they are I would have been. I came to their shop firmly convinced I needed a complete set of new brakes. They said I only needed a pair replaced. Belden Automotive...the rich man's shop – I took my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire to Beldens to check the brakes. After they took my front wheels off, they said I needed pads and rotors...to the tune of $406.03! I was shocked and asked why so much. Apparently they "only use ceramic pads" ($84.22) and decided I needed my brake fluid changed ($64.00), not to mention $157.00 labor!!! Several times dissatisfied with service – 1) Had Beldens replace fuel pump on silverado, they left several vacum hoses/other disconnected to fuel tank area dangling down that I never noticed until I replaced the oil several days later. Any kind of final QC would have noticed the obvious. 2) Had Beldens replace (expensive) flame box on volvo, w/in last 18 months. Today engine check light at dealer revealed same flame box needed replacement again. I was within the 18 months warranty time but slightly over on the mileage. They ... read more

This place is A+ I had my vehicle taken to Belden's after Ancira Jeep tried to sell me a new transmission. My Jeep started jerking and then wouldn't go over 20 mph. I had it towed to Jeep and they told me I needed over $4000 worth of work, including a new transmission and throttle positioning sensor, fuel injectors, etc. When spending that kind of money, I have to get a second opinion, so I picked Belden's out of the phone book. Truly appreciated – The guys at Belden's are great. I have trusted my vehicles to them for years. They literally searched the country over for a carburetor on a 1988 model truck, found it, had it shipped to the shop and installed it. That truck is still on the road today thanks to Belden's. I take my Honda in for service with no worries. I have confidence the car is checked over thoroughly.
