I actuality took it to Belden's for a 2nd option, GMC dealer said I need 1 left side mount ($750). Belden's said I needed 2 motor mounts $1100 and a new transfer case $2600!! Plus they charged me $102 to look at vehicle. A friend told me take it to Fair Oaks Automotive, I figured have nothing to loose at this point. They inspected the vehicle said it ONLY needed 1 motor mount just like the GMC dealer. Fair Oaks Automotive didn't charge me to the inspect the vehicle and only charged me $535 for repair. Carl was absolutely excellent! He was attentive to my needs when I had an expired registration ticket. I am new to Belden and he explained services, helped me look into options for my oil change since I have an import and difficult to service. I don’t normally make appointments for my car outside of the dealer BUT Carl made it simple and easy. Sure enough! You may well find a company with as much integrity as Belden's but my husband and I can assure you that you will never find a better one!!! Those who work there not only care deeply about you and your automotive needs but they outright care deeply about you! This company and those employed therein could easily earn the best automotive company and employees in Texas!!! God bless you Belden's and employees!!! Please be cautious save yourself money and do not get your vehicle fixed at this location. My Dad always used Beldens and I have spent thousands of dollars over several years at this location. I think they have been ripping us off for years. I recently took my truck back because the brakes were making a horrible sound. They had just charged me $800.00 to fix my back brakes just over 2 years before. Once they checked out my truck they said it would be $1600 that everything on the from and back brakes were shot. What an eye opener when I went to Beldon's by Medical Center. I was told I needed 4 heater hoses, a heat control valve. They did their diagnostic check. They did not call me. I had to call them. They said it would cost $1100 to repair. Ridiculous!!!! I took my vehicle to another mechanic shop and got another quote for under $500 which included a new alternator. Beldon is over pricing their services. I also was informed that a customer was charged $400 for a new fan clutch and was never put on. Fraud. Fraud. Fraud. I will nev... read more
