Carl was absolutely excellent! He was attentive to my needs when I had an expired registration ticket. I am new to Belden and he explained services, helped me look into options for my oil change since I have an import and difficult to service. I don’t normally make appointments for my car outside of the dealer BUT Carl made it simple and easy. Sure enough! Complete rip offs. This is the kind of shop that you see on television being investigated. Steer clear of these people and this shop.
I just read the other comment about this shop, and I think that person may have been from a competing repair shop. Belden's ran a diagnostic for me and did it for free. Waived the $95 fee because I was a new customer. I know very little about cars, and they surely didn't have to waive the fee that I was ready to pay. You may well find a company with as much integrity as Belden's but my husband and I can assure you that you will never find a better one!!! Those who work there not only care deeply about you and your automotive needs but they outright care deeply about you! Just moved to the area and in the beginning the decision to go to Belden's was simply based off of proximity. One of the best decisions we made. The service was great. Everyone in the office was courteous and professional. The service was completed quickly and exceeded expectations. They are military friendly and as soon as the gentleman we were working with found out I was a Marine he said he would make a point of personally ensuring my vehicle got the best care as he was a Marine as well.
I can't believe that I was trying to be taken advantage of by you guys at beldens. I took my wife's 2008 Volvo there and you diagnosed the problem as it needing a new alternator. I had no problem with that! It was indeed the alternator. The problem was that you guys wanted to charge me $800 for a new alternator! Also I was asked if I knew anything about the Volvo engines, which I replied, no! Then they said it was a lot of work to replace the alternator and it would be about $700 to replace it!!
