Dr. Bela Desai was very unprofessional and dismissive during my appointment. I visited her seeking help for a severe insomnia issue, but I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. She did not take the time to listen to my symptoms or discuss appropriate treatment options, and no medication or treatment plan for my insomnia was provided. Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard and disappointed with the level of care I received. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Dr. Desai.
This was one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. This primary care doctor Bela Desai was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She showed zero interest in actually listening to my concerns and made me feel like I was just a number rather than a patient. Unresponsive and highly unprofessional. This is one of the worst doctors we have ever dealt with. She left my mother without essential medications for weeks and refused to complete prior authorizations for life-saving prescriptions. She has also raised her voice. Phone calls go unanswered by both her and her staff. If I could give zero stars, I would. Even her colleagues seem dissatisfied with her conduct. I’m honestly surprised Advocate continues to employ her as an internal medicine physician.
Dr. Desai is very Knowledgeable and thorough. She is a doctor who cares about her patents.
Dr. Desai has been treating my adult autistic daughter for a number of years. She is so kind and patients with her. We are very pleased.
