I went to this store because it is my wife's favorite and she wanted a gift card. Now I understand why she loves it! The store was filled with so much good food items and unique gifts that I know my wife will love. She has brought home some olive oils, balsamics, dips, and wines that have made some great meals! To say my husband and I were treated poorly is an understatement. Let's just say racism is fully alive and well in this store. I am local and have been making a point of coming to near by towns and doing only local shopping. I have been doing only Baraboo in the last weeks. I was able to make it in this shop. I can't even post the things that I heard said about my husband. I would expect to hear that from teens not grown adults. Yes more than one. Also involving a customer in on it. Nice selection of cooking and baking supplies that are often difficult to find, all in once place. Of course, if pricing is more important to you than shopping local, I would suggest price comparing in store, because some of the more common household items are less expensive elsewhere. The main reason for three stars and not four is the service. Remember that scene in the Christmas Vacation movie when the sales clerk works slowly? Such an amazing store! Half culinary store which offers amazing classes as well. Half toy/gift store. One of my favorite quaint stores. I popped in with my daughter while on a weekend trip and we picked out several Jellycats. Upon paying we were greeted so warmly and when the employee found out one item was a gift she beautifully wrapped it and allowed us to pick the packaging colors as well. Warm loving care for customers! Wish we lived closer.
