Among the many services that I am aware Beit Rafael provides, a few days ago I unexpectedly learned about their pastoral care services. I rang my mother, who was in The Alfred after undergoing brain surgery on Thursday night (B”H, all is well), and she excitedly told me that on Friday, erev Shabbos, Zaida Fred and Michael Kurc came to visit her.
