Dismissive, rude, egotistical, and disrespectful. He didn't answer questions,and was rushed. DEFINITELY doesn't like to be challenged or entertain suggestions. He tries to make us see a different specialist at every visit because he doesn't think Medicaid patients are worth wasting his "extensive" (?) knowledge base or such expensive time on. Dr. Behzad Maghsoudlou saved my life. I was seeing a neurosurgeon who thought I was loosing my ability to walk within days because of a cord compression thankfully as she was preparing me for emergency surgery she asked Dr. Mag (Neurologist) to clear me from his end because she wanted someone from the hospital in his specialty to corroborate with her decision. I don't typically do reviews of doctors. However, I am not sure I can even put into words how thankful our family is for Dr. Maghsoudlou (aka Dr. Mags)!! He LITERALLY has saved my father's life at least 2 times!!! He has been treating my dad for Parkinson’s, lewy body Dementia, Parkinson’s Dementia, seizures, etc over the past 2 years. Dr. Mags saved Poppy's life when he had Encephalitis, infection in the brain. The other hospital doctors stopped treatment that was working! Treatment that Dr.Mags had started.
