Dealing with this hospital felt like I was living in one of those psychological horror films. My girlfriend who has lived a very hard life, struggles with some mental health disorders understandably, and was admitted to this hospital after suffering a mild mental break at her college dorm. The staff did everything your not supposed to do with someone who suffers with mental health disorders and gets scared easily. There isn't enough space to tell my account. Avoid at all costs like your life depends on it. Because it does. Not a healing environment. Went in for suicidal ideations came out with an even stronger sense of doubt in the world. Pine rest is cool
My daughter Brianna Sherwood went there and came back traumatized. They were not understanding with her condition and shot her up with meds and didn't even tell her what they were giving. Got ignored by multiple nurses on shift when she needed someone to talk to her and calm her down. She was excluded from every "group" therapy except for arts and crafts. If you do not enter this place insane, you will be made insane within a week. Absolute garbage and childish, you will be treated like a prisoner. Drive to a better place.
The staff is friendly, food wasn't to bad, they kept us busy. They helped me a lot
