Treatment here is minimal at best. Most of personnel at BHG are overworked/or difficult to see. I had a counselor who resided in Knoxville, Tennessee, who never came into office. She worked other clinics too, some in Virginia and E Tenn. When pressed on subject, she admitted to being on contacts as satellite counselor. Other counselor I had, had extended workload of upward to 80 patients weekly. Unfortunately, I've been on this program for 10 years in multiple states. I'm from TN. And this place was the worst experience I've ever had. I have called Christina, my "counselor" atleast 30 times for MONTHS to get my paper work transferred, so after a decade, I had to re start and was beyond sick, all bc they couldn't answer the phone and she couldn't be bothered to simply FAX MY PAPERWORK! it's literally part of their job. Been going since Oct 29, 2020, and am SO thankful they started taking TennCare. That was my last "excuse" I couldn't pay for both(drugs and the weekly fee), so I promised my family when they started taking my insurance I would go. Now, they do start you on a low dose, but it's for your safety and they move you up decently fast. They have gotten so much better in the 4 years I have been going.
