This clinic is great if you need something quick and short term. The front desk staff is kind, helpful, and usually gets you in fast. But when it comes to long term care, especially with Dr. Brooks, I’ve had major concerns. I’ve seen him twice, and both times were frustrating. The biggest issue? He only prescribes medications for 30 days at a time whether it’s a controlled substance or a basic antidepressant. I was a patient of the Hoquiam (formerly Aberdeen) for years. Close to a decade. I have had a couple of therapists there. The first was weird. I asked for a new therapist and it was very very easy to switch. I am also on Medicare, and have had only one issue with the office and insurance. I did have to pay a reasonable copay ($15-25). I adored my 2nd therapist at the Hoquiam office, Thomas Martin, and saw him for a few years before I moved out of the area. We even had zoom appointments for several months after I moved. I was very nervous about getting ADHD meds, since I had heard so many horror stories on how difficult it can be to get them- but I was very pleasantly surprised here!!! I went in, they roughly checked to make sure I fit the symptoms, they made sure taking the meds wouldn't be a medical problem, and then just, let me actually take them Now I can do tasks!!! I'm so excited!! Can shower, brush my teeth everyday, do the cat box- it's great!!! I'm so glad they made it easy to make my life easier!!

I just called this place the lady who answered the phone could not give me any information about what the therapist do or any of there tactics they do with patients. I'm definitely not bringing my kid to these people.
