I had never heard of Virtual Reality for therapy, but when I looked into ways to treat my public speaking phobia, it came up all over the internet, with this place coming in at the top. Working with Dr. Reiner, I felt like there was hope for me. This was the coolest treatment I have been a part of, and I'm proud to say I no longer fear public speaking situations.

I had a wonderful experience with Behavioral Associates, due to couple's counseling provided by Dr. Kupperman. My husband and I have seen other couple's therapists but Elyse Kupperman has been the most effective by far. She was easily able to diagnose my anxiety, which was the underlying factor in most of our issues. Using a combination of talk therapy and CBT, both of which she seemed well-versed in, she was able to make a huge, positive difference in our lives.

Successful treatment. I began seeing Dr. Elyse Kupperman after struggling with anxiety issues that made it difficult for me to eat. Dr. Kupperman helped me to understand the underlying issues that caused my anxiety and has identified patterns I wouldn't have noticed on my own, giving me the tools to continue noticing my own behavior outside of treatment as well. She's a great listener and I never feel like she's lecturing me like I have with other doctors in the past. I've found her to be very professional and empathetic, sh... read more

Rob Reiner and his team of therapists is the absolute worst, sham, fraud of a therapy experience in NYC. The therapy that was offered was so bad that after just two sessions for couples therapy (i went with my wife) we were forced to sue for medical malpractice. my first time ever suing anyone! specifically elyse kupperman was the therapist that Rob Reiner assigned us to and she was completely incompetent. She acted like a clueless intern, I question whether she is really a licensed therapist. Only recommend Rob Reiner and b... read more

Bad experience – The therapists are not very experienced. I found them not helpful and not compassionate. I have been to a few therapists during my life and this place was the worst. Do not recommend.

Doctor provides help for phobia – Dr. Robert Reiner provided much needed treatment for my mouse phobia. When I first met with him, he immediately put me at ease. He listened carefully and empathetically and assured me that in the span of just a few months I would be able to have a mouse crawl on me while remaining calm. Of course, I looked at him like he was crazy and doubted that the treatment would ever be successful. But I was also sick of living in fear and so I decided to take a leap of faith and put my trust in Dr. Rei... read more

Good psychologist – I have suffered from a combination of depression and anxiety that got worse when I moved to NYC. A friend recommended to go to see Dr Reiner who evaluated my situationin the first appointment and later recommended Dr Mitchell Levy, who has said would be a good fit. I have been in treatment for 3 months. At first I did not feel comfortable to open up and talk about how I feel, but when I got to know Dr Levy I realized what a wonderful person he is and our meetings became more and more helpful. I'm not out ... read more

Cured of fear of flying – I have suffered from fear of flying and was referred to Dr. Reiner by a friend who had great success with Dr. Reiner's treatment. In addition to finding the treatment incredibly helpful, I also found the staff to be very friendly and up front about fees. My treatment included a session with Dr. Reiner during which we discussed the origins and development of my fear followed by "virtual reality therapy" in which I sat in a chair attached to a monitoring device used to monitor my breathing and heart r... read more

Great treatments, it helped. – I went to Behavioral Associates with my mom due to some problems I am having. I was there for like 5 to 6 treatments and I am totally free of the problem now. It helped me a lot. The psychologist that was helping me really know what he was doing. thanks for helping me!
