Shook hands in agreement to winterize and store my boat and then pulled the spot from me 3 weeks later leaving me in the lurch.
I recently had a very bad experience with them. Ive been with Pinkham and previous owners for over 20years. They were supposed to install motor lift gaskets over the winter (9mo), and when I arriving to pick up the boat, I was told by Kevin they couldn’t get the parts, which sounded and they were on order and expected in next week or so. He did a quick clean of the lift gaskets as a bridge so I could use the boat, and I thanked him and gave a generous tip. Of note, when I got the boat home, the seal was still leaking. The folks at Pinkham's Cove Marine (Russ, Jenny and Kevin) are super friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I took my boat to them for repairs since I was having trouble with the motor accelerating beyond half throttle. Despite a shop filled with boats for repair they were willing to take it in immediately. They asked a few questions about the symptoms I was experiencing when I dropped it off.
