Yesterday I was unfortunate to have experienced a TIA and taken to ED at Bega Hospital. I would like to thank the two paramedics Michael and Soph for their care and transport to the hospital plus all of the staff in ED for their care,you are absolutely wonderful. I cant thank you all enough. What a great freindly team. Thankyou

I had to go to Bega hospital yesterday afternoon with severe shortness of breath and irregular heart beat. Very scary feeling . The nurses and doctors were fabulous in the emergency room. I was seen promptly and had a lot of tests and xrays. Everyone was caring and kind and and continually kept me updated on how i was g oing. Thank goodness it all settled down and I could go home. They will inform my GP so further investigations can be done. I can highly recommend the wonderful staff at Bega they are fabulous. DO NOT HESITAT... read more

So grateful to the professional, caring staff and for the excellent facilities. It’s even better to know that it’s available to everyone, no matter their circumstances. This is what One Nation calls ‘socialism’ - it’s what I call a decent, civil society.

A+E is superb. Three experiences there since Sep '25 and cannot be faulted. Unfortunately, the most recent time I had to be admitted to the surgical ward. What a disgraceful place. A few VERY GOOD nurses do their best [and advocate for the patient] but beyond those few it was like the punishment ward from a Solzhenytsin novel. Cruelty abounds, carelessness even more so.
