After breaking my wrist I was sent to Bega for surgery. The whole experience from the admissions team, to the drs, surgical nurses, ward nurses, the fracture clinic nurses and physio, was very positive. My day surgery turned into an overnight stay due to my anxiety and uncontrolled pain. It was deemed unsafe for me to leave, so the staff rallied to find me a bed for the night. I was treated with dignity, with utmost respect and felt cared for and safe during my stay and subsequent visit. Thank you to all the staff.
Our granddaughter was stuck down with illness in merimbula, the ambulance was very timely and great guys, the hospital staff both in emergency and children's were very pleasant and caring. Thank you all she is real well now.
We are from Brisbane. My wife had a fall and dislocated her thumb. We were told to avoid Bega Hospital by many. Despite a slight delay eventually she was seen and her thumb reset. The staff eg Triage, Doctors, Physio could not have been more professional. and caring! May be short staffed but effort to make patient feel cared for was appreciated!
Came from Victoria on my holiday and had an accident with some boiling water. From Merimbula, ended up going to this hospital and I’ve got to say, I felt very welcomed and accommodated. Even though the wait for a doctor took awhile in the Emergency Ward and it was busy, the wait was worth it and when I did get attention, it was swift. I want to applaud Dr Sam for his kindness, integrity and humanity. How I had my accident was silly but we saw the humour in it and I learnt a few things. No none ever returns your calls and whenever you call they always transfer you and make you leave a message and then they never ever call back. It's a joke
