Cool story... Had booked in next door at Beerwah Mechanical, took car there and was told by the guy at the desk, "Next door for Subaru service" - ok... Went next door to Beerwah Auto Centre, no booking for my service - now I'm confused - though they were happy to take the business and that they only use Subaru genuine parts. Win! Explained the service needs, gave details and key, was called back in less than two hours that the car was ready, and now she hums beautifully. Wayne quoted me a price for repair work - I went over it thoroughly with him in order to understand it and to know how much it would cost all up. I wrote it all down. He agreed my summary was correct. When work completed, he charged me double the amount and was rude when I expressed my shock and referred to the quote. Set up. Look out, especially if you’re a woman
Bought a few motors and other little bits and pieces from them, always friendly, well priced, great knowledge and very helpful, will continue to use them for all my Subaru bits.
Best for all parts and services on the sunny coasts I have been getting all of my special parts and info for over 3years now and Wayne and his crew have always had my best interests in mind and I have never had any doubt or issues with them they know their product and are definitely a professional team with a great attitude and quality service that is unbeatable.
Brake hill assist light +2 more showed on XV panel. Charged me 55 dollars to pass the scan that took 2 minutes then Wayne scared me and told me I have to replace a piece that cost 5000 dollars new (500 dollars second hand from them but they did not have any in stock). Wayne did not reset the fault with the scan. I then drove the car to another mechanic in Nambour for a second opinion. who scanned the car and reset the fault for free.
