There aren't enough words to express how wonderful this place is. The manager, Elizabeth, is one of a kind. It's clear she loves the elderly very much and knows how to care for them in a way to help them keep their dignity and power as much as possible. She was also instrumental in getting my Dad who has dementia into care there when we felt powerless to help him. My mom lived at the Beehive for 4 years from age 94-98 after she found it too burdensome to live alone. A difficult and challenging time of life was made easier for her and our family by the staff and caretakers at the Beehive. Elizabeth and crew went the extra mile when health or other issues arose and their compassion, genuine concern and problem solving abilities kicked in. Their experience was evident and we are very grateful for this much needed home-like facility and care in Roswell.
I've worked at The Beehive for a little over 2 years. It's not just a job, it's a home and a family. The love and care that myself and coworkers give to our residents is truly amazing. We love our residents as if they are our own family. We all go above and beyond to make sure our residents are safe, happy, and healthy! As an employee perspective, we get treated like family also.
