The Beehive is a small community assisted living home. The level of care they provide is top notch. When you enter the home you will quickly notice the beehive is a home not a typical assisted living facility. They keep the residents engaged and active. They are very good at providing you with information with your loved ones. I couldn't be happier with my grandmother who is staying there. They do a wonderful job with her and I couldn't be happier. I came for an interview couple weeks ago. Interview went great. I accepted the job offer, shortly after I had to decline. They were in need of some help and I guess not many people accepted the job offers. I was having the interview with the administrator and the DON. I asked if I can refer someone. I mentioned the word “he” they both said nope the laughed. One of them stated this is a female ran establishment. We don’t hire males unless the do “ maintenance work”. I thought it was a joke but it sadly wasn’t.
We have had a wonderful experience with our loved one at the Beehive in Lyndon. Starr is loving and compassionate. Most all of the staff are patient and understanding of special needs and requests. We would recommend it highly.
Hidden gem in a crowded market of large industrial facilities- small, hands on and great caregivers who actually spend time with the residents. Locally owned and operated ( which is rare in the Louisville area) the team does a great job!
