Looked at my washing machine for two minutes, didn't open it up at all, declared it to be the transmission and said it wasn't worth repairing and I should get a new one. Charged me $96.11 for the diagnostic. I happened to get another guy to look at the machine the next day. He actually got into the machine and ended up fixing it with a $60 part and now it works like a charm. If you want feel completely taken advantage of go ahead and make an appointment. I called on Tuesday, made my appointment for the following Monday. As I was making my appointment I told his wife that I am pretty sure my heating element in my whirpool dishwasher was broken. She says, "Our technician has the common parts on the van. It's $75 dollars for him to come out and an hour of service. If we don't have the part we will order it and you don't pay the $75 fee again." Stay away from this company, it's a total scam! Guy told me oven would cost $2000 in parts to repair, recommended that I get a new one, and pocketed the $80 service charge. Got a second opinion: $417 for parts and labor. Called him back, he refused to refund the service charge and was nasty to boot. Go elsewhere for your service needs.

Dean said it would cost $90 a first half hour to diagnose my broken ice maker. He said most ice makers can be fixed within that time. When he got here he said it would cost $350 to order the parts since he doesn't carry them and then $45 an hour to install. $500 total. I had told him the problem on the phone and when he arrived he asked "What is the problem"? I told him to leave. My moms ice maker cost $200 to repair. Like others who have had the misfortune of dealing with Beehive Appliance Service, I to was charged $70 for Dean--the man who takes "great pride in honesty and integrity", by his own admission--to come out and tell my wife my ice maker was broken. He then told my wife that it would be $200 for an aftermarket ice maker, more than 3x the price found at many online retailers. Very happy with this company! – I almost never write reviews but felt compelled this time. Dean Dahle arrived and repaired my clothes dryer so quickly and gave me excellent advice on how to keep it running in tip top shape. I had asked around at work to get recommendations of trustworthy and efficient appliance repair outfits. Beehive was mentioned as being the best so I followed up, and am so glad I did. LOVE THIS COMPANY! GREAT EXPERIENCE! – I hardly ever write reviews, but because of the negative review on this page, I felt the need to stand up for this company! I recently had a problem with my washing machine so I did some asking around and was refferred to this company. I also printed off a coupon from their website that I was able to use! Pretty unimpressed... – I called Beehive Appliance Service regarding a problem with a dishwasher issue. I was charged $69 only to be told that the dishwasher had been loaded incorrectly and that there was some serious soap build up. He sat there and scraped some build-up with a screwdriver then I was then told to go buy muriatic acid and do a treatment myself.
