The Words “New Patient” is somehow a terrible taboo for these doctors, which is not good for someone recently moved from out of state. Spent weeks trying to find basic PCP, ended up in ER due to symptoms, tumor identified which wasn’t there months ago in imaging, sent home with follow-up visit instructions, and once again in same spot calling multiple offices multiple times trying to get one visit that’s not months out... cause that’s exactly what we need to give an aggressively growing tumor- TIME! Horrible reception staff. Makes you feel uncomfortable, treats you like a number, and sometimes even rude. Communication is horrible too. Showed up for an appointment only to find out the doctor didn’t come in that day. A phone call would have been nice. Doctors were good. Unfortunately, I won’t go here again because of the front office staff.
Quality doctors, but not enough. Scheduling appointments is horrible. If you have an urgent problem, plan on waiting months to see physician. I have seen doctors in three different specialties and when calling regarding serious problems have been only been able to get an appointment 3-12 later. I have not been able to see an endocrinologist in close to two years, even though I had been an active patient for close to five years.
