It's a pretty easy 4x4/ATV trail from Bee Canyon 74 Hemet up to Pine Grove near Idylwild, about 20-25 miles I think. Good view on a clear day. A lot cooler at the top at 4500'. Took ~2 hours to go up. Bumpy as heck in my lifted old Jeep, even at 5-10mph. Fun for the driver, but prob not so much for passengers. If you drive off road much, it's not technical or skillful, just a bumpy road. I went on a weekday and nobody was there it was a nice ride.
Great off roading experience!
Hemet is far, and there are limited canyons, especially on busier days, and no cell service, but it’s not a bad place to spend a few hundred bucks.
