best bakery in my opinion. i live a few blocks away, so i can drop by anytime i want pan dulce...
So the pan de dulce is good there but unfortunately I had a bad experience. I went to buy the Spurs donuts because my son wanted one and we had never tried this bakery. When I went to pay for them and the other sweet bread I bought the lady was about to stuff them all in the same bag. I asked if she could please put them in a separate bag so they wouldn't get squished in the bag. She didn't look happy about it but did it anyways. Then she stuffed them into another smaller bag. I'm originally from deep south Texas and have lived here in San Antonio 10 years. I can say that I finally found a bakery (Panifico) that is just as good as the ones in the Valley. My girls are picky and even they say they finally found their bakery here in San Antonio. It's a 30 minute drive from our house but so worth it!

Piedras, empanadas, chamucos!! Everything is soooooo good!! I venture to say that it is the best Bakery in the westside! This is my old neighborhood, and although I live in Helotes now, it's well worth the drive to get my fix on this delicious Pan Dulce!
My sister brings us pan dulce to Beeville. Always soft and delicious!
