I called Bedford Home Heating to come in and assess an ignition issue with my gas fireplace. I spoke with JP and had a very good first impression right off the bat. This was verified, and further amplified, when he arrived. JP really knows his stuff; he had the fireplace up and running in short order. Hello, I live in Kanata, and I reach out to Bedford / JP about a Hayward pool heater hook up. JP asked lots of questions, and answered lots of questions about the job. We reviewed the photos I had sent him, so there would be no surprises. I had to push the work for a few days, and JP was able to accomodate. JP showed up this morning (Saturday), and was able to inspect my old unit, confirmed it was no good ( 15 years old), and he immediately replaced my old heater with the new heater. Can’t say enough good things about JP Bedford and Bedford Home Heating. Our gas hot water tank started leaking and JP was incredibly prompt and responsive, even on short notice. He didn’t just swap the tank — he thoroughly inspected the venting and chimney liner from top to bottom, making sure everything was safe and up to code. Super professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about doing the job right. Also, somehow managed to charm our very shy cat — definitely a cat whisperer! Highly recommend.
