Very poor slow service - the maitre’d was not busy but chose to studiously ignore requests for service, which doesn’t happen in more efficient bars and restaurants. Even worse, one of the waiters then chose to bring a large and odious rubbish bin through the wine bar to empty it outside - truly a no no! We didn’t have food so no rating for that
Service is so slow it’s painful.
Came to Bedales for a birthday celebration and requested a terrace table. Although anticipated the loud atmosphere being above borough market, it was a struggle to hear one another when the trains passed overhead. Service was not great as was initially given the wrong bill to pay and a pre-organised (via email) birthday cheese cake was not provided.
