wanna know why i had installed out of there for a long time. beckys brother arnie buys these remnant packages at discounted prices. the remnant might be 12 foot wide by 22 feet long and he paid around $3 for it and charging $300. they get them everyone once in a while. i have done alot of jobs where in those were missing the backing and i was told to put it in still. chances are if its shredding there might not be a backing. yes beckys do have 2nds and 3rds. if they deny it they are lying i personally put in a remnant with a... read more
worse place ever!!!! I purchased carpet from this store on 8/2008 the carpet has began to shred and I was told that they will not honor the warranty as they no longer carry this carpet. I would never suggest anyone to go to this company. Wish we could give negative stars.
I wouldn't recommend Becky's to someone I hate I wasted $1300 on carpet that lasted 5 months. They refuse to stand behind their work or product. Not a member of the BBB and refuse to return calls. Liars and cheats. Please don't spend a dollar with them. You will regret it.
Beckys is a rip off!!!!! Becky's Carpet and Tile is a complete scam. I worked there for almost a year and was fired for giving back a $50 deposit a customer left on some junky defective hardwood. I knew it was against policy, but I felt it was the right thing to do. All of the products are cheap and defective, thats why they get so many complaints. Beware! They do not stand behind mistakes My experience with Becky's Carpet and Tile was one I want to try to forget. We moved to the area almost 2 years ago and bought an older home. We replaced all of the carpet in our 3200 square foot home and our kitchen flooring.We decided to use Becky's. The staff in the O'Fallon IL store were great. They really spent alot of time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. The problem is, the carpet bunched up in every room after only one year and the seams are ripping apart.... read more
