Dr Oetting always, always: a) treats me like she has had my medical needs on her mind even before she sees me; b) remembers my medical issues and history without looking on the computer - and then, of course does look on the computer; c) is utterly professional while making me feel like family; d) is calm, poised, businesslike, thorough - and even more, is not afraid to say she doesn't know the answer but always, always finds out and gets back to me asap.
I have been seeing Dr. Oetting for the past decade and she is wonderful. She really listens to concerns and takes time to know your health. She always has a plan for issues and has early hours which is fabulous.
says she's accepting new patients, clicked the number to make an appointment. the first woman i talked to told me she was taking appointments and transferred me to the office only to be told she's not taking new patients.
Perhaps Dr. Oetting is a great family practitioner, but she has no business diagnosing Attention disorders in children. She dismissed my family member's issues and test results . A year later after multiple issues with focus and attention at school we were reffered to a pediatric psychologist by an actual pediatrician and low and behold he was diagnosed with ADD and is JUST now getting the help he has needed. In the future, perhaps she should hand these patients off to someone better educated.
It is so hard to find a compassionate Dr who not only listens to you but thinks outside of the box as well. She does all of the above. She is so great and I recommend her to everyone. I waited months for a new patient appointment in the beginning but she is well worth the wait!
Dr. Oetting really listens to her patients and made sure that my medication suited me well. She was the first doctor out of several that listened to my issues and really tuned in. I feel so much better and I owe it to her. She's very nice and has a great demeanor.
Excellent doctor! Takes her time & makes sure the patient understands everything discussed.
