Came last minute for a quote on a place we were trying to purchase. Able to give us ballpark figures on the spot which was helpful and he was nice enough. After the consultation he surprised us with a $100 fee for the quote which had not been disclosed before hand. Both because he was disingenuous when it came to the fee and because his quote was higher than other contractors who came, we will not be using him.
