First I'd like to say Dr Beckerman is great. I've been seeing him for years and would love to continue with him. But the Optum staff is making that impossible. I've been trying for weeks to schedule my endoscopy and have had no luck. Promised call backs but they never happen or put on forever holds. I got one call back out of 6 and unfortunately I missed it. Also multiple problems with billing. They keep billing the wrong insurance, can't seem to correct it, and my bill goes to collections while they try to sort it out. Each... read more
I would not recommend this place at all. I had my appointment a little over a month ago and will never return. I chose here because i have my health insurance through northwell and they are a northwell provider. During my appointment they took blood for tests and when I got home my wife informed me to make sure they were sending it to a northwell covered lab. When I called I got a run around about it and a day later I was contacted by the office manager. She informed me they dont check what's covered under the health insuran... read more

Absolute gold standard of doctors ! I had such a wonderful experience today with Dr. Beckerman. He is one of the most genuine doctors I’ve ever met in my life . He REALLY cares about his patients and really takes pride in his job. He listened to all my concerns , and really took the time to explain what was going on to me .
