I went under contract with Beazer on a new construction in early September 2022. After being told that I could not receive the closing cost incentives unless I used the builder's lender, I decided to take their word for it and use their preferred lender for the financing for the transaction, Wells Fargo. Once it was time to complete the file and close on the property in early December, the lender came out of the woods 2 days before closing to inform me that I needed additional information and I would not be unable to close. ... read more
