I bought a house at AMIRA (Tomball, TX) in January 2024. I would like to state my disappointment with the air conditioning system in this house. Despite the dimensions of the property, the air conditioning appears to be insufficient, it is really annoying that we woke up every night sweating even though we set up the A/C @ 62 °F, and what is even worse we are in winter time. House is not year old yet. We have found leaking windows and patio does during final walk through. They can not find the leaks and just painted over the issues saying all good. NOT ALL GOOD. We have found Mold in our house and have had a few test done that confirm Mold. This has put us in the ER a few times because of it due to health issues. WARNING: If you are considering a Beazer home, investigate the HVAC enclosures for the home, and talk to the neighbors. I bought a Beazer home 8 years ago, it was 10yrs old at the time so the homeowner warranty has done. The HVAC was dying when I bought it. Replaced it with a robust new unit. Per multiple subject matter experts who evaluated my situation, the new replacement unit died 7.5 years later due to faulty design and duct work by Beazer. I will NEVER buy another Beazer home. Good luck getting any deficiencies corrected after the sale. They are non responsive and send you to a voicemail that tell you to go to a website. We have drawers we have to tape shut because they will not stay closed. Our "upgraded" automatic lock on the door does not work because the bolt no longer lines up. Our gated community isn't gated because the company cannot get the gate to work..... all this for 500k. We have car break ins and security issues with excuses the gate will be fixed soon. Went under contract to purchase a new build Once construction started we found out that the orientation on the lot had to be changed so we loose square footage and other changes due to this Our option was take it or leave it - someone else is buying now I assume
