Place may be one of the biggest laughing stalks I’ve ever been to. Went and got one at McArthurGlen after loving beaver tails on my trip to Montreal. First off the worker seems annoyed that I’m ordering, and has some obvious attitude problems even ignoring other customers resulting in them walking away. Someone must of woke up on the wrong side of the bed I guess. Secondly the maple beaver tail I received took ages to make and was overcooked and Extreamly oily. Absolutely horrible over cooked over stretched greasy nastiness this is IN MO WAY SHAPE OR FORM literally…. Any form of homage to our traditional Canadian treat, this is a mockery and an embarrassment on what an actual beavertail pastry is!
Beavertails has always been one of our favourite treats during ski trips, and it holds many fun and nostalgic memories for our family. We hadn’t had it in years, and we were delighted to see a mobile location set up outside Lafarge Lake.
