It was such a fun and new experience trying BeaverTails! Nothing beats enjoying a warm, freshly made treat while looking out at the waterfront and all the boats. We went for the chocolate and peanut butter BeaverTail topped with Reese’s Pieces, and it was absolutely amazing—crispy, warm, and sweet in the best way, without feeling too heavy. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Charlottetown — it’s the perfect spot to treat yourself after exploring the city!
We were waiting for 20 minutes just for a single beaver tail, although there was no people ahead, and then another 20 minutes for a traditional poutine. The stuff was too slow and inhospitable.
I've had many Beavertails across Canada over the last 20 years, and this location is by far the best. They nailed the cooking of the beavertail and were very generous with the toppings. It was so good, I went back for another one the next day!
The staff ignored my husband for several minutes while the supervisor explained how to do things on the cash register. They knew he was there but ignored him. After finally ordering, the cook was extremely slow. It took him at least five minutes to make one beaver tail before finally getting my husband’s hotdog cooking. They did not give out numbers, take names or advise how long the wait would be.
