This is a great place to stay at as a base to explore this region. It is a lovely, fairly new, three bedroom house that is tucked deep in the woods up in the mountains, total solitude. The interior is very nice, a good kitchen well appointed, comfortable beds, a deck on the back, front porch on which I'm now sitting in a rocking chair while listening to the rain patter down. This is one of the nicest, most pleasant. VRBO rentals that I've ever stayed in.
We spent Thanksgiving week at Beaver's Hill Cottage and had a great time. The cabin is beautiful! Every room is put together with comfort in mind, and it was so nice to be provided with linens and towels. The wood stove is just awesome and the mountain is just adorable. Front Royal is only about 15 minutes away; Main Street offers lots of antique stores, the Daily Grind Coffee Shop and more. We definitely will return...thanks for creating a home away from home.
