Yeah, I get it-you've got a business to run and long time neighbor drama sucks, but lets be straight: this isn't about "bullying" or some Karen agenda. Its about a tiny high elevation lake where common loons have been nesting for decades (they're actually on the B.C. SENSITIVE species list). These big wakes from ski boats aren't just "noisy"-they swamp nests, flood eggs/chicks (loons nest at water level) and turn what used to be calm water into a washing machine. Nesting loons getting swamped by overpowered wake boat!!!! Not a pristine lake anymore, noisy obnoxious ski boat going around & around on this small lake shame on you!!!
We absolutely loved our vacation at Beaver Valley, it felt like an amazing retreat! The nature and the quiet around fills you up with a sense of serenity, truly an inspiring place! The lake was very beautiful (with its mirror-like surface) and warm, we spent hours swimming and kayaking (kayaks were included with the cabin). We absolutely love this place. I honestly have no idea what the folks in the other reviews are on about. The owners are lovely and honest people. Responsive and very kind. If something isn't working, they fix it or do their very best to find a timely solution. The whole herd of goats are alive and thriving; honestly, I've never seen happier goats. They have the whole property to roam, they get walks to the lake, and each and every one of them has a name, personality, and story. This place is definitely off the beaten path, s... read more
