I went in with a knee injury from skiing which ultimately turned out to be a sprained MCL and meniscus. The doctor wiggled my knee around, told me my ACL was probably intact, and gave me an X-ray that found nothing broken. He told me to go to the doctor when I went home. Literally 14 months later (!), I get a bill in the mail for $1500.
