I love hiking the trails at Beaver Brook. There are a good variety of trails, ranging from wide easy walks to Rocky hilly single track. You can create loop hikes from just a couple miles to 10+. There are some rules in place that make it an even better place to walk. Dogs must be leashes and dog waste must be carried out, horses and bikes are only allowed on certain trails, and no morotized vehicles are allowed.
I like that it is in my old home town of Hollis, New Hampshire. I hope to visit soon. The morning I left Hollis (to serve in the United States Navy) was January 16, 1968. It was 20 degrees below 0 that morning. We need more snow and cold to make New Hampshire the idyllic place it once was. If it continues to get warmer and drier, we will see drastic changes in places like Beaver Brook!
