This was my first time at this salon, and while my hair ultimately came out ok the overall experience left me disappointed. The stylist I booked with was double-booked, working on another client while also cutting hair and assisting with training other stylists. ( Princess Cordero ) As a first-time client, this gave me a poor first impression and made the appointment feel impersonal. There wasn’t much effort to build rapport or make me feel welcomed. I scheduled an appointment online for a hair trim 1/2 inch - No layers on 2/24/24. The Salon requested a $50 deposit. At 9:40 on 2/24/24 (The day of the appointment) I received a text from the Stylist, canceling the appointment. She told me that she would refund me the deposit AND reschedule. I provided the Stylist my schedule. I told her that I can only be seen after 5:00 on weekdays, but I am available after 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. I visited this salon about a month ago for a haircut and asked for long layers. I showed the hairstylist a reference photo of what I wanted. She mentioned that the model in the picture had a blowout and commented that because I have a lot of hair, the service would take longer since she would need to section and clip it. At that point, the comment felt unprofessional and made me feel like she was rushing through the appointment.
