Highly recommend Athena! She did hair and makeup for myself (bride), my mom and my niece for my wedding last weekend. She is very personable, pleasant and easy to talk to. My mom had a great time chatting with her and her and I were jamming since we have the same *well rounded* taste in music. We asked for natural but elevated makeup and she delivered 100%! Athena did my hair and makeup for my wedding and everything lasted the whole day and night! Her and her assistant were so sweet!
Makeup has always intimidated me a bit and using it in the past has made me feel self-conscious, but I wanted to learn a new skill and invest in myself for my upcoming wedding. Athena's lessons were fun and exciting, and very encouraging and constructive for someone who was a tiny bit afraid she'd be judged for not knowing how to do her own makeup in her 30s lol. I'm looking forward to practicing and having fun leading up to the event, and staying in touch with Athena if I need more help!
Athena has done my makeup of several occasions and she is always amazing to work with. She is so skilled and always makes you feel comfortable. Most recently, she did wedding makeup for myself and my bridal party and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out.
Athena did an incredible job at my wedding! All of us looked incredible, and she was so willing and flexible working with me to get timing figured out and keep us on schedule. We had an excellent time working with her, and she’s perfectly capable of reading the room and fitting into the vibe, hyping us up, and calming us down as needed. Phenomenal!
