I am beyond happy they are going out of business. They are horrible and rude . To ppl. Black ppl whom spend their hard earned moneys there. I wish there were more black owned businesses for us to spend our money with.i walked I came in looking for braid spray. I sprayed a shot on my braids to see if it would shine. I'm surprised this place is still opened. It is always scarcely stocked, they have soooo many old, outdated items, and they hardly have anything. With hopes that they will get better stocked, the Shelves and racks are often empty every since I've been going there and I started going there in 2020.

I have frequented this business (Beauty Mart in Forest Park, IL) for YEARS but from the service I received in March 2025, I will NEVER go back! I came in to purchase a wig so I had my new wig cap with me. The female owner proceeded to tell me I have to purchase their wig cap for $1 - I told her the wig caps are usually free when trying on wigs, she said NO not here. Their was a lady at the register stating to both the husband and wife (owners) in a calm manner that wig caps are in fact free in all the beauty supply stores sh... read more

Stumbled across this GEM 💎! One stop shop! I purchased scalp oil, a slick stick, and heat protect spay. Cannot wait to scavange around here next time I'm in need of products, appliances, or accessories!!
