Beauty & Essex was better than expected. I typically avoid the more Instagram-famous restaurants, but I was seeing a movie nearby and options were limited, so we decided to give it a try. We started with the Caesar salad and Thai-style fried shrimp, and both were excellent. For our next course, we ordered the chicken meatballs and pan-seared scallops.
