I took my daughter here for her very first ear piercing, and the ladies were so professional, gentle, and welcoming! The whole process went so smoothly, and they made the experience a wonderful one for her. This place is definitely worth the visit! Thank you so much for the lovely gift for my other daughter as well. That was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciate it! 🥰 Highly recommend!
Amy's beauty basics is such amazing place to visit. Men or women, she makes everyone feel welcomed and fully taken cared for. As a man going there it was such an incredible experience. Best place to pamper yourself in Haliburton County or the Kawarthas.
I had a mani peddie today which is horrible. Basically Julie just cut my toes, scrub my feed then polished. My hands are missing polish on some spots and she even painted my cuticles. Now I have to drive to Orillia to get it done before my vacation. Waste of 100.00.
The wonderful women at Beauty Basics did a great job with the hair, make up and nails for my wedding. Alannah did my wedding nails, Amy was the make up artist, and Kristen the hair stylist. All three women were phenomenal. The make up held up through lots of tears, and the hair looked like it had just been done after hours of dancing. And the nails were one of my favourite sets I’ve had done. I would highly recommend Beauty Basics by Amy if you’re getting married in the Minden/Haliburton area.
