Josephine is an incredibly gifted seamstress. She turned a wedding dress I bought as a size 10 sample into a size 4, hiding a seam around the waist (the dress was supposed to have a belt but looked much better on me without one) brilliantly. I have gone to her for many bridesmaids dresses as well, and she is very reasonable - the bra cups are the most expensive part of the alteration. I went to get a price on getting my dress tailored and they were going to charge me $199!! I took my dress somewhere else and they only charged me $70! What a ripoff

When I bought my work suits at the Outlet Store, I didn't realize that my purchase there would not allow me to get my alterations by the company brand name I thought I was purchasing them with. Not trusting "White Way" (or any other cleaners nearby), I heard that I could get the quality alterations I was looking for by Josephine. Tailoring for many years, SHE CAN TURN A SIZE 10 WEDDING GOWN INTO A SIZE 4 (that customer was there that day)!!! She is so knowledgeable and my suits fit PERFECTLY now. I was looking for a certain designer's dress, when I called Beautiful Bride she told me no, we do not carry that designer however we have a similar designer if you'd like to look at this designer's dresses call back to make an appointment. I look at the designers website, found 3 dresses I liked a lot. when I made an appointment and went in she did not have any of the 3 I wanted to see.... ready to leave at this point I decided to try on a few anyway, I found a dress I did like a lot and she told me the price was $2550. know... read more
