I ended up at this ER after a frustrating experience while shopping for a new doctor. At a recent appointment, within the Corwell Health Family, the doctor and his staff essentially dismissed me and made it clear I wasn’t welcome. I went here because I was in extreme pain and my doctor is in the same building so of course I thought I would get the same excellent treatment. How wrong I was. After my scans came back the female doctor told me all she could do was give me a name of a general surgeon and sent me on my way with a three day supply of narcos. Of course I couldn’t get in to that surgeon or any other right away, would have to wait over a week, in unbearable pain. I was brought to this facility in crisis: black uterine bleeding, collapse, shock from pain and exhaustion. Instead of competent care, I was subjected to a missed IV insertion, unmanaged pain, and harassment while I was in a compromised state. Despite their failures, I remained composed, directed my son to wheel me out, and documented the events. My formal complaint was declined, but it is on record. If you ever make a terrible mistake of coming here don't tell them you don't have insurance I just left this Hospital and I'm currently driving to Garden City Hospital because after an hour and 10 minutes I still haven't seen the doctor there's a reason why it's a 2.2 star emergency room And before you think the place was packed Let me Correct you by saying The emergency room Lobby was empty And the parking lot Was empty So to the doctor that was supposed to see me Choose a different profession
