I had a very disappointing experience at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Laboratory (3290 W Big Beaver Rd). I arrived at the facility during the posted business hours. The staff informed me that I needed a hard copy of my prescription, so I returned to my car to retrieve it and came back to the entrance well within the official operating hours. Most hostile staff I have ever encountered. I showed up and I was greeted with a demand for a written copy of the test order, otherwise they could not help me since their system was down. No apology that I wasted my time for driving there. I said I had been there before and maybe they could find those records. She said no. So I turned around and left without any further comments. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, I had a good experience. When you go to a place that is first come first served you need to pack your patience, be prepared for a 30 min wait time and feel great when it only takes 10 min. My suggestion is either look on google or give them a call and ask when the best time and day to come is. If your primary is bad with sending orders in, bring paper orders with you, make it easy on yourself and the nurses.
Terrible , disorganized, need more ppl, structure and leadership
This place is a joke. I went two mornings in a span of a week. First time their “system was down” can’t do any labs. Five days later, “internet is down” can’t do labs unless you have the paper orders. Waste of time. They are very happy to tell you about another lab down the road that can help you.
