This is my 5 visit to Corewell Lenox and 4 times previous, I walk in for imaging, register and sit. Today, I did the same but no one was here at the reception desk. Someone came out to get another patient who walked in after me. When I asked about my appointment, I was told I had to go all the way to the other side to register. Went for an ABUS scan at the 26 Mile location - staff there that performed the test was great. HOWEVER, I have been waiting now for almost 6 weeks for my results!! 6 weeks. Funny how they say if you have any issue, you should be seen by a doctor immediately because catching something sooner than later could mean life or death BUT what's the point when all you hear is that they are short staffed and don't have enough people to read the images. i originally had an appt scheduled a few weeks ago and got a call that it was cancelled bc it was pending authorization from my insurance. annoying but completely understandable and i appreciate them notifying me before i wasted my time. i show up today for an appointment, get told that the tests were still pending authorization and my only options were to either pay out of pocket, see if the ER can do the tests but there’s no guarantee, or reschedule AGAIN. why wasn’t i notified of the insurance issue before i drove all the... read more
