I had a very good experience this morning with my pelvic ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound! Lynn, the tech who is doing the images themselves was running a little behind, but the 10 minutes or so was totally worth waiting even with a full bladder because she was the nicest, most gentle radiologist I’ve ever worked with. Did a simple X-ray of foot. On Wednesday called Friday to find out why there was no results. Was told will be 7-10 days for results. Asked why I wasn’t told was told I should have been told. Asked when this started was told since August. So if you need reasonable reading of X-rays don’t go here. Will never use Cornell health again. Even my doctor is unhappy with the time it takes to get it read and posted. Terrible every time they change the name it gets worse . I called the clinic several times in the days leading up to my imaging appointment to ensure that my insurance has completed authorization. I was repeatedly assured that the authorization was completed and that I was all set for my appointment. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out loads of paperwork, and I wasn’t told until AFTER I completed the paperwork that my insurance DID NOT complete authorization, and that the imaging cannot be done today.
